These terms apply when you use StoryDrive, provided by Leanscape FZ-LLC. By using the app you agree to them.
StoryDrive is designed to be used hands-free. Set up your journey before you move, mount your phone securely, and never interact with the app in a way that distracts you from the road or breaks local law. Follow road signs and your navigation app, not the stories: StoryDrive is not a navigation system and its directions are descriptive only.
Stories are written with the help of AI from public sources such as Wikipedia, Wikivoyage and Wikidata, and voiced with synthetic speech. We work hard to make them accurate, but they can contain mistakes. Use the report button on a story if something looks wrong. Don't rely on a story for safety, access, opening times or legal information.
StoryDrive is in early access. Features, limits and journeys may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. It is provided as it is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
StoryDrive is free to try: the first few stories of every curated route always play. If passes are offered, they are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, and are charged through our payment provider, Stripe. A Route pass unlocks every story on one curated route for as long as the route is offered. A Season pass lasts 12 months from purchase and unlocks every curated route plus planning your own trips, within a fair-use monthly allowance of new stories. Stories you have already played keep playing either way.
If you live in the EU or UK you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Passes are digital content supplied straight away, so at checkout we ask you to agree to immediate access and to confirm you understand that the withdrawal right ends once you start listening to the unlocked stories. Until you do, you can withdraw within 14 days for a full refund. If a pass doesn't work as described, email us and we will fix it or refund you. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Don't misuse the service: no automated scraping, attempts to bypass daily limits or security, or uploading content you don't have the right to use. We may suspend access that puts the service or other users at risk.
You keep the rights to text and images you add, such as a journey description or cover. You let us store and display them as part of the journeys you create and share.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and can bring a claim in its courts. Questions? Email enquiry@leanscape.io.
